Our History

Mad Scientist Laboratories began operations in September 2014. Located at 1234 Labrat Valley Drive in Toronto's tech district, we have established ourselves as Canada's first and foremost super genius team. Its founder, Dr. Higgs Boson, has since been instrumental in collecting experts from around the country including Professor Geology Rocks, Walter Bishop, Dr. Evil, Sue from Accounting, and the mysterious Dr. Weird.

The Laboratory was founded by Dr. Boson's belief that he could make a better world by creating a new . Although he had been a part time mad scientist for more than 25 years, it was only during the early 2000s that he began seriously considering going full time. In September 2015, he left his position as a senior webmaster at Seneca College and dedicated himself to turning his vision into reality.

The next year was spent consolidating funding, acquiring expertise and equipment, as well as gathering a team of people with the skills and temperament to make the venture a success. The diabolical super genius Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz was hired to develop the High Voltage Lab - a large building capable of housing the team, and making it the defacto source for research and development or more commonly referred to as "trial and error". He, along with Luna Tic, a biologist who trained as a barista, set about the important task of establishing the Laboratories reputation for bizarre discoveries unveiled by unconventional means.

Chronology of The Laboratory

2014

September: Mad Scientists Laboratories revealed to the public amid thunderous applause and a string of light-bulb moments.

2015

August: Toronto publicist Nerdy McNerd is hired.

September: United Nations recognize the Laboratory as a global source for good.

2016

May: A new class of recruits began testing their hypotheses for membership in the Laboratory. Only the non compos mentis will get membership.
